Display of Website:

To display our websites to you and provide you with its features, we process the following personal data:

Google Analytics, Google Maps and Google Ads

On our websites, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service, Google Maps, a map and navigation service, and Google Ads, an online advertising program, all provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”).

 

Google Analytics, Google Maps and Google Ads use cookies. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.

 

We use Google Analytics only with the enabled IP anonymization configuration to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so called IP-masking). This means that your IP address will be anonymized by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser is not merged with other Google data.

Communicating and/or doing business with you:

If you provide your personal data to us in order to receive information on our products and services and/or enter into a business relationship with us, we will generally process the following personal data of yours:

  • Other personal data that you actively provide, e.g. by indicating your position or your interest in a product

We retain the personal data for as long as we are in communication or a business relationship with you, your company or your employer.

 

Newsletter:

We process your email address to send out marketing emails to you (our newsletter). We do this only with your respective consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). We will delete your personal data when you unsubscribe from our mailing list (e.g. by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email).

 

Data Transfers

We share your personal data with suppliers and service providers who process this personal data on our behalf (so called processors pursuant to Art. 4 no. 8 GDPR). These processors are strictly bound to our instructions and may not process this personal data for their own purposes.

We may also share your personal data with our affiliates from the Olympus corporation, where this is necessary to fulfil the business purposes as disclosed above.
