Fluorescence Image Guided Surgery
The Quest Spectrum® is a fluorescent imaging system used in capturing and viewing fluorescent images for the visual assessment of blood flow for the evaluation of tissue perfusion, and related tissue-transfer circulation in tissue and free flaps used during plastic, reconstructive and organ transplant surgeries.
The system uses direct visualization for open procedures, or via a laparoscope for minimally invasive procedures.
- Two dedicated NIR channels enable capturing of color images and up to two fluorescent images.
- Usage for open and laparoscopic (MIS) procedures in one medical device.
- Capturing High Definition (Full HD) images with great sensitivity due to dedicated sensors.
- Recording real-time videos and stills/photos.
- Stabilizing arm provides stabilization and positioning of the camera, without requiring assistance from other OR personnel

How we do it?
The Quest Spectrum® Camera begins with the true color image of the surgical site. This natural image may be overlaid with one or even two fluorescent markers in the field of vision. The combination of the natural image with the fluorescent markers makes it possible to visualize tumors, perfusion, lymph flow and other specific targets in real time during the operations.
This technology, core to the Quest products makes it possible to:
- Combine the information from the three sensors into one image.
- Easily choose one of all of three imaging approaches: natural image, fluorescence detection, or fluorescence overlaid onto natural imaging.
- Move the camera without creating visual distortions or pixel deviations.
