Personal data that we process, processing purposes and legal basis
Display of Website:
To display our websites to you and provide you with its features, we process the following personal data:
- IP Address
- device type, operating system and version
- browser type and version
We process this personal data of yours in order to display our websites to you which you are visiting (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We retain this personal data for as long as necessary to display the website.
We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are text files that are stored by your Internet browser on your device. When you visit our website, various cookies are stored on your device and read by our website. Technically necessary cookies are automatically used when you visit the website. The legal basis for the use of technically necessary cookies is our legitimate interest in operating a representative corporate website, art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Subject to your consent we use additional cookies to statistically analyse the use of the website and to offer personalized content and possibly advertising by creating pseudonymized user profiles. For this purpose, we also pass on information on website usage to service providers for advertising and analysis. Google Analytics, Google Maps and Google Ads
On our websites, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service, Google Maps, a map and navigation service, and Google Ads, an online advertising program, all provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”).
Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offer, to compile reports on the activities within this online offer and to provide us with further services connected with the use of this online offer. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.
We use Google Analytics only with the enabled IP anonymization configuration to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so called IP-masking). This means that your IP address will be anonymized by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser is not merged with other Google data.

Communicating and/or doing business with you:
If you provide your personal data to us in order to receive information on our products and services and/or enter into a business relationship with us, we will generally process the following personal data of yours:
- Company name
- First name, surname, and gender
- Address information
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Other personal data that you actively provide, e.g. by indicating your position or your interest in a product
This personal data is collected from you, be it in an email you send to us, via a contact form, or through other means of communication.
We process this personal data in order to answer your questions, communicate with you and otherwise prepare to possible enter a contract with you or your employer. We process this personal data in for the purpose of our legitimate interest to communicate and doing business with you, which is not overridden by your interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
We retain the personal data for as long as we are in communication or a business relationship with you, your company or your employer.
We process your email address to send out marketing emails to you (our newsletter). We do this only with your respective consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). We will delete your personal data when you unsubscribe from our mailing list (e.g. by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email).
We share your personal data with suppliers and service providers who process this personal data on our behalf (so called processors pursuant to Art. 4 no. 8 GDPR). These processors are strictly bound to our instructions and may not process this personal data for their own purposes.
We may also share your personal data with our affiliates from the Olympus corporation, where this is necessary to fulfil the business purposes as disclosed above.

As a data subject, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data that we process:
